Ward 6
Ward 6 is situated in the east end on the Hamilton mountain.
Ward 6 runs along the north and east edge of the Escarpment and bordered on the east by Upper Red Hill Valley Expressway, while the southern limit follows along the hydro corridor. The western limits of Ward 6 mainly run along Upper Gage Avenue (between the LINC and the escarpment), but veers west to Upper Sherman Avenue from Rymal Rd. East to the LINC. Ward 6 is divided by the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway and includes the interchange with the Red Hill Valley Parkway.
Ward 6 is situated upon the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, and the 1792 Between the Lakes Purchase. This campaign and those involved stand in solidarity with MMIWG2S and are actively committed to meeting the TRC's Calls To Action.
